He stood over you, mint colored eyes drifting over the many injuries you had collected in the course of your fight. He had to admit to being impressed at your performance in the arena. When he saw you across the balcony for the Chūnin preliminaries, he didn't expect you to be capable of putting up such a fight. Even though you had lost, he still thought you did well. His sand thought so, too; it swirled around your unconscious form as if inspecting your injuries.
Your chest rose and fell with steady breaths, the heart monitor beeping rhythmically beside you.
"Pathetic," he said, but even as he said it there was something about y

The tips of her fingers softly glided atop the rough rocky barrier as she strolled down the walkway. She stopped at her usual spot and leaned into the waist-high wall, carefully resting her forearms against its cold, firm rocks. The crashing of distant waves caught her attention.

He was pretty sure he had caught that cold from one of the chunin he'd recently assigned a mission to, and suffice to say he wasn't happy one bit with that.
The desert sun was doing its job magnificently, keeping the area too hot and too dry. Gaara made sure to keep water on his desk should he need it. All in all, it was a fairly average day, although throughout he did feel a bit nauseous.

"I'm going out for the day with some friends and leaving you with our son Airi," you replied arms folded more than ready to leave for the day.
"B-but you can't do that..." Garra stalled trying to think of one reason no matter how silly it sounded.
"Look Gaara," you began, "I know this is going to be your first time looking after your son alone and I know that just the thought of it seems daunting enough, but I wouldn't be willing to leave him with you unless I had some faith in you." Your words seemed to comfort Gaara a little but it was st
“How many times does this make it?” asked the fan wielding sibling to her brother, both crouched down and out of sight as they peered into the window of a café.
“….Maybe eleven times the past two weeks, consecutively…” He answered in a low murmur.
The on-looking sand siblings peeped in on their youngest brother, reading some papers quietly at a table all on his own, occasionally sipping at his tea. He looked to be the same as always; calm, cool and collected Gaara, with a stoic face to rival all others…but beneath the surface, there had to be something more…something his slightly p
